TAR1Q, a talented Nigerian singer-songwriter, has made his debut under Chocolate City, one of Nigeria’s top music labels, with his latest collaboration “Jigga” featuring Khaid.

In this track, the duo delves into themes of love and brotherhood, showcasing their skills as leading figures in the new wave of Afrobeats. TAR1Q, also known as Tariq Oluokun, possesses a velvety voice and a knack for heartfelt storytelling, along with a stage presence that sets him apart. His unique musical style, which he describes as ‘Afro-Rhythm,’ seamlessly blends elements of contemporary Afrobeats, Pop, Hip-Hop, and classic R&B.

Having been signed to Chocolate City in 2021 after showcasing his talent, TAR1Q spent a year in the Nutrybe Academy honing his craft and creating music. Graduating with an impressive catalog of 60 unreleased songs, he developed a clear understanding of his sound and brand.
